Projektinhalt
Research focuses on the development of new and improved instrumentation for rapid detection of fraud and for protection of the economic interests of enterprises and society and the health and safety of citizens. Non-contacting technique developed in the project able to work directly without open the bottle milk constitute a real advantage for inspection test by accredited laboratories. The main objective will be the development of innovative, cost effective, rapid, and reliable electrical impedimetric and ultrasonic equipment, sensors, and software package for the detection of adulterations issues from milk, such as dilution with water, addition of foreign proteins, presence of some contaminants, e.g. antibiotics and toxins, as well as freshness of milk. The techniques proposed take much advantage compare the present ones. Some measurements are non-destructive and able to be performed without contact (inductive method) or by measure through the plastic packaging (ultrasound). The sensitivity is extremely high and leads to the detection of the percentage of fat and water, one of the main falsifications of milk. The fraud control system to be developed will be a modular concept using the same acquisition and processing unit for all possible measurement configurations. The system will have the option of a remote monitoring module, according to the particular needs of the user. It will function online and will fit in existing food production systems. This device would present the advantage of measuring at once several characteristics of the milk. To reach the project objectives, innovative, cost effective, rapid and reliable electrical impedimetric and ultrasonic equipment, sensors (lipid and immuno-coated) and software package will be developed.Zurück
